Nikolaos Korfiatis is Professor at the Department of Informatics of the Ionian University, in the field of Data Management on the World Wide Web. His research interests include business analytics, the analysis of unstructured data and the business applications of artificial intelligence.
Before his election to the Ionian University he was a member of the academic staff of universities in the United Kingdom, with which he maintains active research collaborations. Within the laboratory he coordinates activities in the area of data analytics and artificial intelligence applications.
